The deposit and consignment office represented by its Managing Director Dr Boutheina BEN YAGHLANE participated in the 7th edition of the Entrepreneurship Fair "RIYEDA", the flagship meeting for young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs, organized on February 12 & 13, 2020 at the Cité de la Culture, in Tunis.

As every year, the support and financing players, support structures, business leaders and experts came together to share their experience, debate and propose concrete solutions to the challenges that young Tunisian entrepreneurs face.

The promotion of an entrepreneurial culture is one of the CDC's strategic axes, mainly linked to the supervision of regional development and job creation initiatives. This fair is also a professional crossroads for exchange, sharing, learning and coaching, which represents a real opportunity for young entrepreneurs to access financing and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Riyeda brought together around 70 speakers, 765 young entrepreneurs, 271 business leaders and 46 investors to share new ideas and draw inspiration from many iconic, political and institutional figures.

The objective of this event, being to popularize the entrepreneurial spirit among young people which allows the bearers of project ideas to prospect new professional paths, to develop their network, to find funding, to benefit from the best advice, to create employment and bring out the new leaders of tomorrow. This is the vocation of this Fair which represents for young entrepreneurs the key to success.

Dr Boutheina Ben Yaghlane recalled that "the CDC in partnership with the AFD and the technical support of Expertise France launched the ENLIEN project to boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia for an amount of about 16.5 MTD. The project aims to promote and support entrepreneurial initiatives which contribute to the fight against unemployment of young people, in particular social and female, through the funding of five entrepreneurial initiatives but also technical support to public nurseries of the APII. In addition, the CDC directly funds 6 technopoles which are the privileged places to support innovation and research and development”.

For the year 2020, the show highlighted the support and financing of business creation by national and international experts, support structures and business leaders.
